Actions and S4S Palettes

A set of colours that I created first of all to recolour hair in Sims 4, but that also work for pretty much any sort of recolouring project you can set your mind to I guess. All colours are named after characters, places, ships, guns and species from Mass Effect, because it was the first thing I could think of that would give me plenty of names.

Last Update: 19/08/18 - Added a new palette for natural skin tones. Main .rar file has been updated.



DEFAULTS
Designed to replace the 18 EA default colours. Still close to the originals, but in my opinion they are more natural-looking and allow for better consistency between hairs.



Here you can see the differences between the colours. Not all of them are amazingly obvious, but I like them. Originals are on top, my colours are on the bottom.



NATURALS
A few extra naturals to compliment the defaults.



JEWELS
Rich jewel tones, for those who need darker colours than the unnaturals.



UNNATURALS
A little of everything here, with colours chosen to work for various berry challenges.



NEUTRALS
To go with the jewels and unnaturals when recolouring things besides hairs, such as clothing or objects.



METALS
Created to fill a gap I found while recolouring tiaras and the like for hairs. Sadly a little flat for metal shades, but hey, they do what I need.



SKINS
The newest palette (and likely penultimate addition to the Eezo Shot family) is a set of natural skin tones. These were mostly created to be used for makeup and the like.

INFORMATION

The actions are designed to be used over EA's dirty blonde colour or a medium grey, except for the neutrals which are only meant to be used over a medium grey.

The S4S palettes go into 'Documents, Sims 4 Studio, Palettes' and you can use them by clicking 'Tools, Color Palette' in S4S. I recommend making a dummy swatch first to set the 'secondary display index' to the correct number. My naturals start at 350, my jewels at 550 and my unnaturals at 900. When recolouring non-hair items I tend to order them as neutrals, jewels, unnaturals and then metals last.
